The Tyrant’s Fox Cub

The emperor of the Southern Kingdom was cruel, volatile, and had a fondness for blood. Rumor had it that he had brought back a white fox from the spring hunt, and everyone speculated about how long it would survive.

Bai Ruanruan tucked in her fluffy tail. "Wah, I'm scared..."

But months later, the white fox was still doing perfectly well, and growing cuter by the day.

The emperor was sure he had no impure thoughts about his beloved pet. That is, until one day, in the bathing pool and in his arms, his pet turned into a human: black hair, white skin, eyes like stars, and skin beneath his hands as smooth as the finest silk.

At that moment, the emperor realized his feelings for his beloved pet might no longer be entirely innocent.
