Ji Yu: (Retreating frantically) ...Who likes you? I don't. I just want to sleep with you.

Every time Ji Yu took a step back, Jiang Shijing moved two steps forward. He never pushed or demanded anything, instead enticing Ji Yu to come closer.

Ji Yu's take: Come on, who's supposed to resist when he's always this gentle? Not me, that's for sure...

At first: So what if I like his looks? It's physical attraction!

Now: ...All right, stop making excuses. Just say you were into him for his looks. Don't act like you're some kind of pure romantic.

Reading Guide:

1. [Important] The leads are not both inexperienced. Ji Yu (the bottom) has dated before and has sexual experience. It's only briefly mentioned, not described in detail. If you can't accept this, please don't come in and insult the characters. That's really rude. Just click the back button.

2. Jiang Shijing (the top) really is laid-back about everything, except when it comes to Ji Yu.

3. There is another side couple, but they don't get much plot time and will have their own book. Since Ji Yu and Xia Minghua are very close friends, their lives overlap a lot, and some readers may mind that, so I'm noting it here.

4. There are lesbian and heterosexual supporting characters, but they are only mentioned in passing and don't get much page time.

5. A happy group ending. The romance is sweet at its core, though parts of the plot may be a little infuriating.

6. Short bonus scenes appear at random in the author's collection. Feel free to add the book to your favorites if you're interested.

7. I've gone into so much detail because I don't want readers to discover a plot point I failed to flag and then insult the characters. I think I've covered everything, but if there's something else you'd like me to flag, let me know and I'll add it. Everyone can look for the books they enjoy as they please.
