The Twenty-Fifth Hour

[Short story, not on a paid platform, around 100,000 characters.]

On Monday morning, Chi Yun received a postcard signed He Xunshu.

“Yuncheng, Jingshan Road, Cafe No. 306.”

For several days after that, she received another postcard each day, all signed by the same person.

There was no postcard on the seventh day.

So that evening, she grabbed her suitcase and caught the next high-speed train to Yuncheng.

In a narrow, dim alley, an unfamiliar young man stood in the distance, dressed in a white shirt and black pants. Tall and slender, he gazed at her solemnly.

His name was He Xunshu, and he claimed to be her boyfriend.

Chi Yun received the seventh postcard.

*

“I love you at the twenty-fifth hour.”

*Bad ending.

*The leads' relationship has no misunderstandings. The tone is lighthearted, but the bad ending refers to the plot. There is a twist.

Theme: True love lasts forever.
