[The complete novel has been written in advance]
Arthur Pendragon was killed on the battlefield by her own child, Mordred.
But she ended up in a place called the Throne of Heroes. Before she could even figure out what was going on, she was summoned to a place called Gotham...
Huh? Summoned so soon? Anyway, she was supposed to take part in the Holy Grail War, right? Let her see...
But the information she received said:
[Welcome to the Type-Moon Guide to Being a Good Parent!
Are you still troubled by your child's rebelliousness? Are you still pouring your heart out to them (literally)?
We're dedicated to helping parents from the Throne of Heroes get along harmoniously with their children!
Our chosen one, Arthur, work hard to become an exemplary parent everyone will envy!
Step One: Fulfill your Master's most urgent wish!]
[Current wish: Have a nuclear-peaceful, uranium-loving conversation with his own dear old dad: 0/1]
Arthur, who had just been stabbed by her own child: ...Uh.
No, wait, am I Santa Claus? And for that matter, what is Santa Claus?! Why does her Master have a red bucket on his head? People in the future are so weird!
The Batfamily: Jason seems to have acquired a new deadbeat dad. Wait, isn't this a girl?
Bucket: This is actually pretty great.
What to expect:
DC and Marvel characters: Is something wrong with you, King Arthur? I'm firing my beam of light!!!
The Batfamily watches the British photo album's ultimate love-triangle showdown: Morgan, Guinevere, Lancelot, and one completely clueless king.
The entire Round Table are fanatical King fans, all wondering who the king's number-one knight is. Bucket: I think it's me.
The little birds: Does she even eat Alfred's scones?!
Bucket: Mordred, your dad's great. He's mine now.
Batman: Hold on.
Mordred: I thought we were brothers, and you steal my dad?! Father---ah!!!
I was once the king of Britain. I was born to quell the wars, and I will protect my people.
As a knight, I will protect the innocent. I swear this for all eternity.
Notes:
Artoria is a woman, but since little Mordred calls the spiky-haired King "Father," this novel's title calls her a deadbeat dad.
This version of King Arthur is basically an ultimate mashup of Saber Artoria, Prototype Arthur, and every other version of Arthur, including details from all sorts of King Arthur legends. You might even get the impression of a certain legendary Arthur Pen Dragon. This Arthur's appearance falls somewhere between Saber Artoria and the Lion King. Think of her as an added member of a variant King Arthur team.
Theme: Love is eternal magic
