Queen of Beasts in a Bizarre World

1. When darkness swallowed the world and the age of the uncanny began, Ling Tao happened to pull an encyclopedia of animals from the library.

"Congratulations! You've acquired the golden talent [I'm Not Human]! When entering an instance, the Host can randomly turn into an animal and obtain the corresponding golden finger."

Ling Tao: "Huh?"

"Starting animal: brown bear. Automatically matched golden finger: tough hide and thick flesh. Matched instance: zombie siege."

Ling Tao: "Huh?"

Ling Tao soon realized that being a bear was pretty great.

After entering the zombie world, everyone else was bundled up from head to toe, terrified of getting infected. Meanwhile, she was a bear striding through thousands of zombies, knocking one out with every swipe of her paw.

A zombie bit down on her hand. Hilarious. It chewed and chewed, but couldn't even break through her defenses.

2. In the age of the uncanny, two legends were passed around. The first was that, whenever danger struck, animal friends would appear in a flash to save the day.

The great brown bear who led the charge through hordes of zombies, clearing a path for humanity;

The silly roe deer who used its own power to infect the surrounding uncanny creatures with stupidity;

The beautiful orca who rescued countless people from the floodwaters...

The second legend was that the top-ranked figure on the leaderboard had an unknown identity. No one had ever seen her face, and they said she was the mastermind behind the dawn of the age of the uncanny.

Humans loved their animal friends, but feared the top-ranked figure whose name hung high on the leaderboard.

They loved her as they loved life, and feared her as they feared a god.
