[The Count of Monte Cristo] The Avenger's Dream

◆A story about a witch seeking revenge and an avenger.

The witch returned from the abyss. Hatred itself can serve as the sacrifice that summons a witch.

“Your hatred, I'll make it come true.”

“Shh, listen. That's the echo from hell, the avenger's whisper.”

A person consumed by hatred sacrificed their soul and summoned a witch from hell into the mortal world. The flames of vengeance are spreading, set to reduce the city of Yokohama to nothing.

And it all began with a tiny seed of hatred planted by an insignificant person.

A pile of Sharingan eyes gazes upon the mortal world. The pain that lingers will eventually draw the devil's attention, while the breeding ground of hatred nurtures destruction.

“Why won't you look at me, Edmond? Heh. We're both avenging spirits. Aren't we the closest of all?”

...That was the devil's voice, which had lured an unjustly imprisoned sailor into the endless abyss time and again in the dungeon of If Castle.

Known as the King of the Cavern and the Count of Monte Cristo, the avenging spirit looked at the being before him, who was no different from a witch, and replied in a hoarse voice, “...Enough, Astra. There's no need to prove it anymore.”

Because the sailor named Edmond Dantes had long since fallen irretrievably in love with the witch.

A witch's love is destined to be warped and obsessive. Perhaps only sinking into ruin together could satisfy her.

1. A story about a witch seeking revenge that I came up with on a whim. The pairing is with the Count.

2. A heads-up: the revenge will succeed. The targets of vengeance include Mori Ogai and Konoha. I may add or remove worlds in the future.
