[FF7] After Restarting 99 Times, the Player Calmly Went Insane

Ever since the player's powers went out of control, they've been trapped in the game world every time they fall asleep.

Unless they complete a romance route with one hundred affection points, they'll never escape this dream. The player is forced to pursue men.

On their first playthrough, the player became a foot soldier on the battlefield and got blown away by the silver-haired special forces soldier's area-of-effect fire attack.

From then on, the player stubbornly picked a fight with him, choosing him as their target every time.

After who knows how many playthroughs, either the other man died or he killed the player. The player calmly went insane.

Romance him? What a joke. If the player ever romances Sephiroth again, he's a dog.

The player stopped the silver-haired soldier and, expressionless, confessed to him once more. The soldier politely turned them down: "Sorry, we're both men. It wouldn't be appropriate."

The player replied without a hint of emotion: "It's fine. I can go get a sex change right now. Do you like women with big breasts or small ones?"

After seeing the soldier's slightly surprised look, the player was utterly crushed. "Sorry, that was just a joke. I was playing Truth or Dare. Please don't take it seriously."

The player gave up completely.

That night in the real world, the player got drunk at a bar and ranted about Sephiroth's crimes. "Damn it, I've tried so hard, and he still doesn't like me! I like girls, but I'm forced to pursue him, and he's still not satisfied?"

Dazai replied with a curious tone, "Yeah, how can he still not be satisfied? Zhen-chan, how about I sleep with you tonight? That way, your powers won't go out of control."

The player refused righteously. "No, I don't want to sleep with a man."

Dazai Osamu looked at him quietly with his violet eyes. The player quickly caved. "I don't want to romance a man either, Dazai. Who knew this lousy power would only let me target men? Aah, if only this were a world without supernatural abilities."

After saying that, the player burst into tears, and Dazai helplessly patted his back to comfort him.
