This Taoist Master Is Quite Handsome

Lin Yue is a Taoist priest and a senior at the best private school for the rich and privileged in the country.

Every day, he studies with tireless determination, pulling all-nighters to grind through practice questions. When the results come out, he's second from the bottom.

A teacher whose face is covered in pustules raises a sharp axe. With one swing, he chops the student at the very bottom in half.

Lin Yue: ...

There's an exam every week. Next time, it'll be him.

Studying hard isn't working, so Lin Yue turns his attention to Xu Jingyi, the top student in their grade.

In this eerie, gloomy school, Xu Jingyi stands out from the crowd. Among all those crazed students who only know how to study, he seems much more normal.

Lin Yue blocks Xu Jingyi's path.

Lin Yue: "Help me improve my rank."

Xu Jingyi: "Why?"

Lin Yue is incredibly good-looking. Even a woman in her fifties or sixties can't help feeling delighted at the sight of him, and even boys are dazzled by his looks.

Lin Yue: "I can date you."

Xu Jingyi: "I eat meat."

Lin Yue: "..."

Xu Jingyi gives him a scornful smile and turns to leave.

Lin Yue calls after him, "Move up one place, and you get a kiss. Move up ten places, and you get tongue..."

Xu Jingyi turns around and beckons. "Come here. Let me taste you."

Lin Yue: "..."

Lin Yue doesn't know why he has to suffer through studying here every day, why the student who comes in last gets chopped in half by a teacher, why there are human fingers in the rice porridge in the cafeteria, why it never stops raining at school, or why sticky blood seeps from the cracks in the walls.

Lin Yue is on the verge of breaking down from it all. Xu Jingyi licks his lips, his Adam's apple bobbing as he gazes at Lin Yue with deep, shadowy eyes. "Verdict: delicious!"

Lin Yue completely loses his mind!
