The Sword Cultivator Gets a Mecha [Interstellar]

After surviving the lightning tribulation, sword cultivator Yu Wushuang ascended in a single leap, going from the greatest sword cultivator in the world to a useless young master of the Yu family in the Capital Star System.

Once, he was a swordsmanship prodigy praised by everyone in the cultivation world, second only to the Heavenly Dao and superior to all others.

Now, he was a famous good-for-nothing in the interstellar world, someone anyone could kick while he was down.

The Yu family wore disappointed expressions. “You're a disgrace to our family!”

Noble scions sneered. “Yu Wushuang? The only time he ever worked hard in his life was when he picked his parents.”

His classmates laughed. “The good-for-nothing is relying on his family to embarrass himself at the mecha academy!”

Workaholic Yu Wushuang: Heh.

A different world, same cultivation.

Only, there were always people getting in Yu Wushuang's way as he studied.

His peers spread rumors and ostracized him?

Yu Wushuang thought their little tricks couldn't hold a candle to the feuds between sects back in the day.

If you like bullying people, then you can “enjoy” it for the rest of your life.

Someone tampered with his mecha?

Yu Wushuang used his extraordinary mental power to make his opponent's mecha explode without a sound during the competition.

Yu Wushuang: “Everyone, enjoying the fireworks?”

Everyone: Is that Yu Wushuang?

Everyone: He's so strong!

After Yu Wushuang used his own abilities to gather a group of followers, his favorite one betrayed him.

Yu Wushuang patted Yun Chenguang's cheek. “This traitor, drag him out...”

Yun Chenguang bared his teeth and bit down on Yu Wushuang's finger.

Yu Wushuang changed his tune. “This little puppy can stay.”

In recent years, with the rise of the immersive game Everyone Ascends, more and more people have claimed to be cultivators, powerful beings who ascended from some minor world.

Most of them were just too absorbed in the game. Only Yun Chenguang and his Temporal Anomaly Investigation Bureau knew that some of them were real.

The young master of the Yu family, who had fallen gravely ill just before the new school term and undergone a dramatic change in temperament, was a person of interest to the bureau.

Yun Chenguang was sent on a mission to observe Yu Wushuang at close range.

Some time later.

Yun Chenguang: “Report. Following direct contact, Yu Wushuang has been deemed highly suspicious. Anomaly level: S. There's also an even more serious problem.”

Bureau Chief: “What problem?!”

Yun Chenguang: “He's pretty cute.”

Bureau Chief: “...”

Yu Wushuang lifted Yun Chenguang's chin. “You dare betray me?”

Yun Chenguang stuck out the tip of his tongue, his gaze defiant. “Then punish me.”
