Even Oikawa Can't Get Away with That!

At the house near school where Oikawa lived, a girl had recently moved in at his older sister's request.

Because of their different schedules, the two of them had not run into each other at all during the week.

Then, one weekend, Oikawa and Iwaizumi got home very late after playing in a match, and the two had their subtly awkward first encounter.

When Oikawa got home, he heard a noise inside and thought a burglar had broken in. He flipped the breaker by the door and took down the thief in one move. Then he heard a girl's voice, and froze!

After he turned on the lights...

Oikawa wore an expression of pure anguish. The beautifully sculpted “thief” was the girl who had moved into his house!!!

Mahiro Hanazono: “It's nothing. Don't worry about it.”

Oikawa shrieked: “How could I not worry about it!”

After that, the two of them ran into each other more and more often.

Oikawa realized that wherever he went, he could always find Mahiro Hanazono working a part-time job.

Including, but not limited to:

A part-time cashier job at the school convenience store.

Occasional shopping for the volleyball team's supplies.

A part-time job preparing fruit platters at the supermarket.

Oikawa, with a serious expression: “Mahiro, let me introduce you to a steady part-time job~”

Mahiro Hanazono: “Go on.”

Oikawa, smiling brightly: “Be my wife.”

After a moment of silence, Oikawa was elbowed.

The girl's exquisite face broke into a dazzling smile. “Even you, Oikawa, can't suggest that kind of part-time job~”

Later on,

Mahiro Hanazono's ears were bright red as she felt the boy's soft, tousled hair brush back and forth against her neck, and the warm, damp softness against her skin.

“You can call me Big Sister Mahiro.”

“But, Big Sister, if you don't tell me the truth, I won't let you off.”

The tall, well-built boy held her tightly in his arms. Having had a taste, excitement was all that remained in his eyes.

Mahiro Hanazono had never liked a boy before and had no idea what being in love was supposed to feel like.

Ever since she turned sixteen, all she could think about was how to make money.

Oikawa was an unexpected “tsunami” in her peaceful life.

Having one more wonderful friend was pretty great.

Oikawa was a good person, very gentle, and only a little childish now and then, which was kind of cute too.

Mahiro often thought to herself that when he smiled gently with that handsome face of his, he really could leave people dazed.

Oikawa had never thought that he would fall in love with someone over time.

He had always believed he was the love-at-first-sight, devoted-romance type.

But falling in love over time didn't seem so bad after all.

It was just that the girl he liked wasn't easy to pursue.

But that was fine. If he wanted something, there was nothing he couldn't do.

Including winning over the person he wanted to pursue.
