[Genshin Impact] A Thousand Songs

"Dear Xiangling, Hu Tao, Xinyan, and Yunjin,

By the time you read this letter, I will have left Liyue.

Don't worry. I haven't disappeared, been kidnapped, or run away from home. I've simply discovered, rather late, what my life is meant for, and decided to act on it.

Also, please pass this message on to Brother Xingqiu and Chongyun. I didn't mean to leave them out. It's just that men and women are different, and calling them 'dear' feels awkward, while 'respected' sounds too distant. After thinking it over, I could only leave it unsaid. I still care about them, and I hope they won't take offense.

One more thing: I just realized I forgot to say what my life's purpose is, so let me add it here. After studying music theory for over ten years, I've finally realized that I was born for the music of Teyvat! So I'm going to travel through the seven nations and collect music! As the people of our neighboring nation, Mondstadt, would say, I'm off to become a bard! Please ask Brother Xingqiu to tell the family, so the elders won't worry.

And one more thing: Hu Tao, please apologize to Mr. Zhongli for me. I was far too mischievous back then. I secretly replaced his tea leaves with orange peels, used the jewels in his collection as marbles, dozed off and doodled in his classes, and even made up a love triangle between him, the Tianquan, and Lady Ganyu. I was wrong. Please ask him to be magnanimous and forgive me!!!

And one last thing: if Mr. Zhongli still hasn't cooled down, please show him the drawing!"
