Cotton Candy, Sweetened by the Winter Sun

Jiang Linzhao has recently become obsessed with a short animated series. As usual, she started looking for other fans' creations on DreamChase, and sometimes made a few of her own when inspiration struck.

Of all the fans, the one Jiang Linzhao admired most was the mighty artist Mountain Sparrow, who had posted daily for more than two years and was highly active in the tag. She regarded her as a goddess.

Jiang Linzhao found Mountain Sparrow's CE account in the fan group, but since she had clearly stated that she wasn't looking to add contacts, Jiang Linzhao didn't dare bother her goddess.

A week after joining the fan group, Jiang Linzhao was surprised to receive a friend request from her goddess. Nervous but thrilled, she accepted. After they chatted, the other woman praised her work.

As time went on, Jiang Linzhao and Mountain Sparrow gradually grew closer. After graduating, Jiang Linzhao got a job at a studio in Baoyuan City.

The following winter, Jiang Linzhao was summoned to her boss's office, where she found an unfamiliar young woman sitting in the boss's chair.

Before long, her boss returned. After discussing work with Jiang Linzhao, the two women left. Jiang Linzhao also learned that the unfamiliar young woman was her boss's friend, Xin Yao. From then on, she would run into Xin Yao from time to time, and the two became close enough to greet each other and chat.

Later, at a convention, the group members planned a get-together. Jiang Linzhao happened to be free, so she signed up too.
