The Bit Player Stays Silent [Exorcist Universe]

[Supernatural crossover exorcism stew]

He is a mute background character in an exorcist world, playing all kinds of bit roles with butterfly effects. Some are dazzlingly talented and willing to sacrifice themselves; some are loyal, honest, easygoing, and humble; others commit every manner of evil and scheme to seize what they want. Sometimes he has to be both insatiably greedy and disdainful of worldly concerns.

The one thing all these bit characters have in common is that they're caught in the center of a dangerous storm and die incredibly fast.

He can only speak a few honest words after completing each bit-role mission. Somehow, more and more people recognize him and call him a holy spirit sent down to earth.

When he's not playing a bit role, he works as a night watchman and key keeper at the "Holy Court," where saintly sons and daughters are trained to be exorcists. Sometimes he gives lessons, sharing confidential accounts from the field and the experiences of the dead.

But after teaching so many classes, he inexplicably starts getting sent out to crime scenes. When he arrives, everyone knows him. It seems he's become the protagonist. What an absurd turn of events.

This holy spirit is unlike any other. On the surface, he looks like a starving, freezing demon wraith.

The colder people get, the more they like hot, rich soup. The colder he gets, the more likely he is to clamp his teeth around a living person's neck and bare his fangs.
