The Monster's Beautiful Wife

[An increasingly sentient nonhuman gong x his beautiful, tragic, strong, and prematurely doomed wife]

-

The gong's wife died, and for the first time he understood what it meant to grieve.

Then he met his wife as a child and, through their time together, came to understand how her personality had been shaped.

The gong finally came around, and his wife survived.

His wife laid a whole bunch of eggs for him.
