[Cheerful, forward, shameless flirt, wolfish younger top x cool, reserved, indulgent to a fault bottom]

Sheng Yuchuan is the alpha heir to Shengyuan Group, born with a life others would kill to have.

But his mother died and his father ignored him. He was left in the care of a beta substitute who looked exactly like his mother. According to certain novels, the young master Sheng should develop romantic feelings for the woman who raised him.

And he did.

On his eighteenth birthday, Sheng Yuchuan used being drunk as an excuse to sleep with Shen Yao, figuring they could make their relationship official first and talk about love later. But Shen Yao said Sheng Yuchuan was in heat...

Sheng Yuchuan: How dare you refuse to let me take responsibility!

Shen Yao: ??

-

Shen Yao is a beta with no interest in romance or sex.

Living under his older brother's identity, he only wants to raise Sheng Yuchuan and leave as soon as possible. But after that incident, he couldn't make sense of it or figure out what to do with the kid.

All he could do was pretend nothing had happened and avoid the issue. But he never expected

A beta like him could get pregnant.

The two were chasing each other around the bedroom, acting out a reluctant, fake noncon situation, when Shen Yao suddenly braced himself against the wall and retched.

Sheng Yuchuan frantically carried him to the hospital.

The doctor pushed up his glasses and said slowly, "It's normal for a male beta's reproductive tract to atrophy, but... President Sheng, is your pheromone concentration treating a beta as an omega? You forced his body into a second puberty."

Sheng Yuchuan thought Shen Yao didn't want the baby and was about to say, "It's okay if you don't want it," when Shen Yao took his wrist of his own accord.

Shen Yao looked silently at Sheng Yuchuan, thought for a long time, then said: I want to have the baby.
