Blurb 1:
Abigail somehow transmigrated to Paris in an unknown era.
Fortunately, just as she was about to end up on the streets, a kind stranger took her in.
With no money and no idea whether she could ever get back home, she happened to get an interview opportunity.
But the new job was singing opera, and she had studied musical theater.
Her benefactor offered to coach her and even provided a place to practice.
She thought it was no wonder Paris was the city of music. Her benefactor was so talented, even though he was just a laborer.
It was just that the practice venue he took her to seemed a little familiar.
Wasn’t the basement of the Paris Opera House the Phantom’s domain?
She didn’t want her benefactor wandering somewhere he shouldn’t, so she stopped him.
But he said it would be his home someday.
Why did that make it sound like she was the one in danger?
Before she could move out, she somehow ended up sleeping with her benefactor, and he seemed to want her to take responsibility.
But they were both adults. How could they take a casual affair between a man and a woman so seriously?
Abigail was flustered by his crying. She blurted out an agreement, but what exactly was she supposed to do to take responsibility?
Running away on her own was hard enough. Then she was unlucky enough to “win a prize,” the kind where you get one free with your purchase.
Her benefactor’s mad side came out, too. It wasn’t enough that he kept watching her every moment, he also wanted to lock her up.
Should she give in or not?
Excerpt:
“Why are you crying? I was the one who was in pain yesterday, okay? I didn’t cry, and here you are, a grown man, crying?”
Erik quietly shed tears beside her without saying a word.
“Could you stop crying? I promise I won’t tell anyone. That way, you can still be an innocent, respectable man, okay?” She really couldn’t stand seeing someone cry, especially when she was involved.
Erik continued to quietly shed tears without saying a word.
“Fine, if you can’t find a girlfriend someday because of this, I’ll take responsibility, okay?”
“Are you really willing to take responsibility?” His voice still had a trace of a sob.
“Yes, yes. Could you stop crying first?” His crying was giving her a headache.
“If you’re willing to take responsibility.” It was clear he’d keep crying if she didn’t.
“I’m willing, I’m willing. I’ll take responsibility, okay?”
Abigail transmigrates, while Christine is reborn.
