As an ordinary high school student with powerful spiritual energy who can see yokai,

Natsume miraculously survives after the Time Retrograde Army destroys his world. He accepts the Time Government's invitation to become a Saniwa and joins its law enforcement division.

He learns breathing techniques, ignites Dying Will Flames, studies both supernatural abilities and cursed techniques, and even forms a detective agency with his sword spirits.

After traveling through a world filled with transmigrators, reborn people, and people who are both, he finally uncovers the traitors within the Time Government who were colluding with the Time Retrograde Army.

He thinks he can finally live a normal life as a Saniwa, but then the leader stabs him in the back.

Leader: I've decided. You'll be the next leader!

After learning about his fate, Oda Sakunosuke calmly sets down his glass of wine.

Synopsis:

Tsunayoshi, male, is a high school senior who has completed the Ring Inheritance Ceremony of the Future Arc and the Representative Battle, and is an ordinary student who also happens to be a mafia boss.

Under pressure from his teacher, who threatens to make him inherit the family business if he can't get into the University of Tokyo, he teeters on the brink of dropping dead every day.

The day before his college entrance exams, Tsunayoshi closes his eyes and opens them to find himself kidnapped and taken to a place called the Time Government.

They tell him that his world was destroyed by historical revisionists and that he's the only survivor.

Tsunayoshi doesn't believe them. He thinks his hyper intuition must be broken, because it keeps telling him that everything they're saying is true.

While escaping over a wall, Tsunayoshi accidentally crashes into a fox cub and falls into a time rift with it, landing in a strange world formed by the fusion of several small worlds.

To contact the Time Government and get home, Tsunayoshi has no choice but to act as a temporary Saniwa, relying on the incomplete clues received by the fox cub to fight the Time Retrograde Army and protect the world's history.

Fox Cub: I got a photo from the Time Government. According to history, this person is supposed to take medicine, shrink, and become a great detective. (Takes out a photo of Kudo Shinichi.)

Tsunayoshi glances at Kaito, who happens to be passing by, and slaps his thigh. "What a coincidence!"

So he knocks out Gin, steals the A drug, uses Gin's money to set up a detective agency overnight, and vows to train the shrunken Kaito into a great detective who surpasses Ranpo.

But a few days later, the fox cub receives another message from the Time Government.

Fox Cub: (Takes out a photo of Kaito.)

Fox Cub: This person is supposed to inherit his father's job and become Kaito Kid.

The human and fox stare at the face identical to that of the person they shrank and fall silent. Just then, the television is showing an interview with Shinichi after he solved another strange case.

Tsunayoshi suddenly understands. So he's a detective on the surface and a part-time thief behind the scenes, helping the police catch himself. That's the secret to why Kaito Kid is never caught. It makes perfect sense!

Fox Cub: This time, the information says to protect the life of a white-haired boy with special abilities and make sure he joins the Armed Detective Agency.

White hair, special abilities, and in danger of dying?

Tsunayoshi looks at Shibusawa, who's being beaten up by the Double Black duo, and understands again.

Fox Cub: The information this time is vague. Something about monkeys, cursed techniques, and a cult leader?

Tsunayoshi: I think I saw someone at a tennis match called the Monkey King of the Mountain.

As the human and fox discuss this, Geto summons a white dragon that flies overhead.

Fox Cub: That's amazing. Just like the leader, he can summon yokai.

Tsunayoshi: Leader?

Fox Cub: The leader is really kind. His name is Natsume, and he can summon all sorts of yokai. He also carries a cat that can turn into a person.

Tsunayoshi: Natsume, turning into a cat, and summoning yokai... That sounds a lot like a combination of Mr. Soseki and that boy just now.

The fox cub and Tsunayoshi exchange a look, immediately hit it off, and bring Soseki and Geto together so Soseki can become Geto's teacher.

After learning about the state of the jujutsu world, Soseki silently looks at Geto. "My student, how about learning about the Three-Part World Order?"
