My Girlfriend Died One Hundred Times

On the day they reunited after a long separation, her girlfriend died right before her eyes.

She collapsed soundlessly in the snow, eyes closed, her body as cold as ice.

Her pale, dry lips had been saying “I love you” on a video call just hours earlier.

The world spun, and time turned back.

.

Wen Zhongting began having frequent dreams.

In her dreams, her girlfriend died again and again.

After she woke, the scenes from her dreams played out in real life, over and over.

She tried to save her hapless, foolish girlfriend by following the clues in her dreams...

She pushed her away from a street corner, only for her to be hit by an electric scooter that veered off the road.

She bought another drink, but a small bump on the bottle cap sliced her girlfriend's throat.

Her girlfriend crossed the intersection first, but missed a step and fell into a manhole under repair...

Wen Zhongting: ...There's no saving her. I just can't save her.

.

After seeing Wen Zhongting die with her own eyes, You Qingping could barely breathe. The blood throughout her body seemed to run backward.

Almost instantly, she was dragged into some absurd realm, where she struck a deal with an unknowable being.

Blood for blood, life for life.

She would die a hundred times in exchange for Wen Zhongting's rebirth.

But on the one-hundred-and-first death, who would die, and who would live?

.

A fun, offbeat story about two cuties falling in love.
