Exploiting Bugs to Win Over the NPC Male Supporting Character

[Sweet Girl x Yandere]

Shanshui gets transported into a game.

Her mission is to win over the gentle male supporting character, an NPC.

An NPC is just an NPC. He doesn't even have thoughts of his own and only repeats a few set lines.

Hello.

Thank you for the gift.

Goodbye.

[System: Affection +1, currently 1/999]

Shanshui explodes.

Then Shanshui discovers a bug in the system that lets her boost his affection by huge amounts.

Including, but not limited to:

The male supporting character reaches out, and she takes his hand.

[Affection +9]

The male supporting character opens his arms, and she hugs him.

[Affection +99]

The male supporting character closes his eyes, and she kisses him.

[Affection: indescribable]

At last, hard work pays off. Thanks to her tireless efforts, Shanshui manages to raise the NPC male supporting character's affection. But the System tells her she's got the wrong target: she's supposed to win over the male lead.

Shanshui packs her bags overnight, ready to go find the male lead, when a cool snake tail coils around her ankle. Cool fingertips gently climb up her cheek, cup her face, and reverently kiss the corner of her lips. His breath is warm.

“Why don't you come see me anymore...”

“Shanshui, give me a kiss today, too.”

“Look at me. Keep your eyes on me forever...”

The premise is unchanged. The leads' names are tentative.
