A Guide to the Noble Academy's Strange Tales

Zhou Ying'an was accidentally sucked into a romance game set in an elite academy.

But strangely, the game’s main menu was filled with an eerie black haze, making it seem more like a horror game.

Even stranger were the game prompts that appeared on the screen.

"Welcome, player, to [The Rules of Romance: Dokidoki]."

"To ensure you enjoy the game to the fullest, please remember the following rules."

1. The story takes place at Shenglan Academy, an elite school attended by many students, most of whom come from prominent families and wealthy conglomerates. You play a specially admitted student from a commoner background.

2. This game uses a one-on-one route system. In each playthrough, you may choose one target to pursue. Please make sure your target’s affection has reached the maximum before resetting your current route and starting the next one. Mixing up the steps may cause bugs.

3. You are free to explore and choose your target. This game is highly open-ended and will not offer suggestions in this regard.

A. For the sake of your gaming experience, we recommend choosing the student council president in your first playthrough.

S. For the sake of your personal safety, we do not recommend choosing the student council president in your first playthrough.

6. Shenglan Academy has a strict hierarchy. Those at the top may oppress those below them as they please.

7. Shenglan Academy welcomes all and treats every reasonable kind of being equally.

8. Remember that you are human, but be careful not to let any other beings find out.

"Enjoy the game."

After a while, Zhou Ying'an discovered two things.

First, she had followed the game’s instructions to the letter, but bugs still appeared.

Second, the bug was that certain characters’ affection for her carried over and accumulated between playthroughs.

Zhou Ying'an: Hmm... I feel like I got tricked by some no-frills game. :)

1. A dark, obsessive, all-consuming romance with a touch of mystery. The main characters may all be strange in their own ways, and even their species can’t be guaranteed (?). If that’s not your thing, please drop out in time OvQ

2. One-sentence summary: The heroine is madly loved by all sorts of strange beings. It’s a wish-fulfillment story about being irresistible to everyone, with tons of rivalry and romantic showdowns.
