Furuya dragged his deceased fellow officer back to the safe house without mercy, then struggled to make sense of Matsuda's explanation about all that complete nonsense.
Propping his chin on one hand, he coolly remarked, "So, Matsuda, you've become 'the lone heartthrob comes back to life, gets bound to a dating System, and starts a new harem life in the city'?"
Matsuda glared at him without expression. "Put away that ridiculous light novel title of yours. And what the hell is 'lone heartthrob' supposed to mean? Are you asking for a beating?"
Furuya skillfully ignored Matsuda's protests and summed it up on his own. "Romantic energy can be exchanged for resurrection in the store. As long as I can... uh, fall in love with Matsuda, Hiro will come back to life soon..."

And so, with Furuya's guidance, Matsuda used the System's items to embark on a succubus's life of scamming points wherever he went.
