Pairing: cold-faced but warm-hearted handsome shou X naturally sweet-faced, secretly devious, incredibly clingy gong. Both are devoted to each other.

The strongest human esper was gravely injured during a mission. After the central authorities declared him "incurable," they exiled him.

With nothing left to lose, he headed straight for the most contaminated region and fought his way to its core, until he was spent.

As consciousness faded, he felt a damp touch against his fingertip.

He struggled to open his eyes and saw a pitch-black, indescribable creature sucking on his finger. When it saw him wake, it called out delightedly:

"Mommy!"

The shou slammed his head into it. "I'm your dad, damn it!"

Somehow, he survived, and was forced to live with the black ball. But gradually, he discovered that anything he touched, killed, or made was completely cleansed of contamination.

So he began by rescuing people, one by one, picking up wanderers consumed by contamination. He purified the land, rebuilt houses, found sources of clean water, and planted crops...

Before long, more and more people had joined him, and a new base quietly rose from the ruins.

Meanwhile, the black ball took on the form of a boy and followed him around all day, calling him Mommy.

The shou had had enough. "I've told you, I picked you up from a garbage dump. I'm not your mom!"

He sent the kid to school at the base, hoping to get some peace and quiet.

But when the boy got home, he came running over and wrapped his arms around the shou's waist, eyes shining. "The teacher said people only tell kids they were picked up from a garbage dump to fool them. I was born to you, so, "

The kid got another headbutt.

The base grew larger and more famous. The central authorities repeatedly asked him to return, even going so far as to plant people in his bed.

After he finally got rid of them, the shou turned around and saw the young man standing under the lights, arms crossed, smiling at him.

Suddenly he realized that the little creature from back then was now taller than him, and hadn't called him Mommy in a long time.

Just as he was about to send him off to bed, the other man stepped closer, his shadow falling over him. Hot breath brushed his ear. "Don't find someone else. I can do it too."

You shouldn't be my mother.

You should be my wife.
