Sweet, spoiled heiress x insecure, older elite
Li Wangjin first met Xie Bo in person after his company went bankrupt.
The handsome man who had always been so confident now wore a wrinkled white shirt and a crooked tie. He was squatting in a corner, staring blankly into space.
Li Wangjin walked up and looked down at the man, whose shirt was so thin it almost showed the bones of his shoulders. His top button was undone, exposing his snow-white neck.
This man was very handsome. Keeping him around for fun might be nice.
She lowered her head, held out her hand, and sweetly said those few words.
The man's impassive eyes suddenly shrank. His face reddened slightly, and he seemed to refuse her in anger.
Li Wangjin smiled and nodded, without pressing him.
But that very night, the man, still wearing the same white shirt, awkwardly stopped her outside a bar.
"Um..." he said with difficulty. "Could you give me another chance?"
Li Wangjin reached out with a playful smile and stroked the open collar of his shirt, touching his collarbone, reddened from the cold against his snow-white skin.
"You need to learn to dress yourself."
At some point, a man appeared by the side of the Li family's heiress. He was handsome and quiet, and always kept the top button of his shirt fastened. Even after people recognized him as the once-celebrated business genius, he continued to follow Li Wangjin in silence.
Only at night would the man kneel before the young woman and undo the top button of his shirt, revealing a glimmer of something beneath it.
Li Wangjin liked leaving little sparkling things on him.
At first, the girl lifted the man's chin with a fingertip and asked with a laugh,
"Can you act cute? If you can't, I don't want you."
The pale-faced man pressed his lips together and shook his head.
Later, Li Wangjin kissed Xie Bo's flushed earlobe and heard a faint voice, carried on his breath, flit nervously past her ear.
She replied, enunciating each word:
"You lied just now."
Tips: 1. The sparkling things literally sparkle.
2. The male lead isn't that old. He's only about five to ten years older than the female lead.
Theme: Never give up.
