In the original story, Fu Zhaoqing is a standout supporting character from a wealthy family. He's successful in his career and has won so many entertainment-industry awards that he can barely keep track. Even his private life is spotless, without a single rumor.

To stop readers from shipping Fu Zhaoqing with the original protagonists, Xia Xian has only one option: make Fu Zhaoqing a man who's not a virgin.

Fu Zhaoqing never dates?

No problem. Xia Xian knows Fu Zhaoqing likes to save people.

He joins the talent show Fu Zhaoqing is running and "accidentally" texts him, tearfully complaining that the other contestants are bullying him.

He tears his own clothes and rushes into Fu Zhaoqing's dressing room, claiming he's been drugged and feels awful.

He even sits in Fu Zhaoqing's lap, eyes brimming with tears as he clings weakly to his neck.

"They're all coveting my body... You're the only good person here, Teacher Fu... I've actually admired you for ages..."

The "good person" swallowed, then said in a low voice:

"...In that case, why not be with me?"

Later, Fu Zhaoqing even wants to take him to meet his parents, get their marriage certificate, and make their relationship public, all to protect him.

But Xia Xian still has important things to do! He hasn't finished his wealthy-family storyline yet.

Once the show ends, Xia Xian makes a run for it. He's recognized by his wealthy family and proceeds to wreak havoc. His older brother deliberately indulges him. Xia Xian makes a fuss about eloping with a bodyguard, only to be personally dragged back by his father halfway through.

This time, his father gives in and arranges a male blind date for him. He hears the guy is handsome, successful, and built like a double-door refrigerator.

That sounds kind of familiar. Xia Xian reluctantly agrees to take a look.

...It really is familiar! It's that "good person" who's here to settle the score!

After the banquet, Xia Xian is shoved into Fu Zhaoqing's room.

Xia Xian can only put on a pitiful act, gazing at Fu Zhaoqing with wide eyes as he speaks softly:

"...Dad's right next door..."

But Fu Zhaoqing lifts him up and pins him behind the door, gritting his teeth.

His breath is hot against Xia Xian's ear.

"Then let him hear how you call me hubby, little liar."

Author's tastes are all over the place. Please read the content warnings if needed (they contain minor spoilers).

1. A take-charge, paternal, saintly top x a sweet, wife-like, irresistible little liar.

2. One-on-one relationships at each stage. The pursuit is possessive and coercive, with lots of melodrama and little angst. After they break up but before they get back together, the bottom follows the "original story" plot (he briefly dates a cannon-fodder top). No other romance lines. Both leads are charming and will have admirers.

(In the "original story," the top is a perpetually single male supporting character, and the bottom is a wicked cannon-fodder character. This novel begins before the "original story" starts.)

3. Updates follow the ranking schedule before signing, then daily updates afterward.

Xiao Ge'ou has amnesia.

When he wakes up, he learns he's been in a car accident. The doctor asks him to call a family member. He checks his phone and finds just one contact.

Lu Yu (saved as: Dad)

What a tiny social circle, Xiao Ge'ou grumbles as he calls.

"...I'll be right there." The voice on the other end is hoarse, as if he hasn't spoken in a long time.

---That's a little strange.

Lu Yu arrives soon. He has broad shoulders and a narrow waist, and his face is a little pale. He looks at most ten years older than Xiao Ge'ou.

The doctor asks, "What is your relationship to the patient?"

Lu Yu answers seriously, "I'm his owner."

The doctor falls silent for three seconds.

Then Lu Yu adds, "He's my dog."

Now everyone in the hospital room is staring at them.

Before he can die of embarrassment, Xiao Ge'ou hurries to drag this lunatic out of the hospital.

After he's discharged, Lu Yu takes him back to a... castle. Everything here feels familiar, but how could a freshly graduated college student like him afford a place this expensive?

The first two days pass peacefully.

Moonlight spills into the room, revealing a streak of blood at the corner of Lu Yu's mouth. Lu Yu really bit him hard enough to draw blood!

Clutching his wound, Xiao Ge'ou laughs angrily.

He hurls every curse word he can remember at Lu Yu.

Lu Yu watches him quietly, looking at his flushed, furious face, but somehow not seeming angry.

"...You actually dare to talk to me like that?" Lu Yu asks, puzzled.

"...It's like this, Ancestor. Once the contract expires, he can do more than talk back. He can attack you. Since he's lost his memory, I suggest you let him go..."

"No." Lu Yu suddenly interrupts the staff member. "I'm his owner. He can't leave me."

The person on the other end wisely doesn't argue.

"There's nothing we can do. This is the modern age. When slavery contracts were abolished by law, you were still asleep---"

The air suddenly turns cold.

Lu Yu glares at him, his murderous intent almost tangible.

"---But, but there are still legal contracts that can be enforced. You just want to keep your frie---pet, right? There's a way!"

"What way?" Lu Yu finally relaxes his gaze and asks.

"M-Marry him..."
