[Click to read about a squishy mage and reverse-order Mimi falling into a dangerous romance!]
With a gentle mom and a mischievous dad, Lak has always thought he was the happiest kid in the world!
Even if he isn't entirely human, and his family is a little strange.
Of course, things might be better without that somewhat dimwitted little brother.
Still, a few flaws don't spoil the whole picture, and Lak has always been easy to please.
But!
Why did passing through a black vortex bring him to a pitch-dark city?
Life is hard, foxes sigh.
Be self-reliant, and you'll have food and clothes!
Lak can only dust off his old candy-making skills and add a little magic and a few special abilities.
The Gotham Candy House makes its grand debut!
“Mage, Gotham is my territory. Take yourself and your dangerous wares and get out!” said the black panther with dark green eyes.
“Oh my gosh! I really don't know what you're all suspicious about. I'm just a delicate mage running my own small business!”
“Mage, get the hell out of Gotham!” he roared.
“Merlin, this damn assassin is really scary!” Lak said, yet kept moving closer.
He reached out, ignoring the hand around his throat, and hooked a finger behind the little panther's neck in the rain. “Before I leave, want to try holding hands with this dangerous nonhuman?”
From the scorching desert to misty Gotham, Damian trusts no one. He only trusts the blade in his hand.
Damian means conquest. He was born to conquer.
“Gotham belongs to me.”
Damian is a son for the first time,
and evidently, Bruce is a father for the first time too.
“Damian, you can't do that!”
“Having a fight? How about some ice-cold little beetles?” A small fox with purple eyes and shark teeth squeezed through the window.
Notes:
1. There is a secondary couple. Since Lak's identity is connected to them, information about that couple won't appear for now.
2. Contains DC dark humor. I'll knock on a wooden fish drum, but keep the same style.
3. I love the little birds cuddling, so there will be lots of little birds.
4. I'll add more if I think of anything.
