(The main story is in third person.)
(The first arc's blurb is from the shou's perspective, but the main story is from the gong's perspective.)
Arc One
Calais (gong) x Ren (shou)
I met a noble male Zerg prince. I got close to him and seduced him.
In the end, I succeeded.
I stayed with that prince for three whole years and became his secret lover.
I knew perfectly well that there was no place for me by his side. His future queen and consorts would be female Zerg from prominent families.
The mental sea period was approaching, and my friends urged me to give up.
But what could I do? I loved this prince, who never said what he really meant.
The prince reached marriageable age. Watching him meet the female Zerg his family had carefully chosen for him as his future queen, I felt jealousy grow wildly in the shadows.
The growing sickness in my heart drove me to cross the line. At a banquet, I plied the prince with drinks. He teased me like a pet, then casually downed one glass after another.
The prince was in high spirits that night. Perhaps it was punishment for getting him drunk, but he pushed me to the brink of unconsciousness.
While he was lost in passion, I couldn't help asking a very stupid question.
"Your Highness, will you marry me?"
I'm sorry, Your Highness. I was the one who schemed to start this relationship.
Arc Two
Aian (gong) x Yin (shou)
I grew up with a female Zerg.
He was like a little shadow following me around. I hated how quiet he was, yet I searched for him whenever he was out of sight.
Something went wrong during my awakening period, so I cut ties with my past and secretly left the home planet.
Then one day, that female Zerg appeared in front of me without warning.
I was shocked, but also delighted.
Yet I treated him terribly, saying coldly, "You're acting like a stalker. Leave now or I'll take you to the police station."
The female Zerg was silent as a mute.
And I really did call the police.
The female Zerg never learned his lesson. After he was released, he kept hanging around in front of me, and in irritation I told him to "get lost."
But the female Zerg couldn't read the room. He knelt before me, humbly pleading:
"Please, don't send me away."
I'm no longer glorious and successful. I'm the family's castoff.
My moods are unpredictable, and I can see the whole course of my remaining life stretching out before me. You shouldn't have to live this way.
Arc Three
Bo x Wen (female Zerg and female Zerg. Read with caution.)
"We have to stay alive, even if we're barely clinging on."
