After Becoming a Zerg Larva

Li Xi lived in the apocalypse.

During a mission, he was severely injured and his mental power was completely exhausted while covering his teammates' retreat from a dangerous area.

By a strange twist of fate, his mental form was forcibly pulled into an unfamiliar sea. Here, storms raged across a vast and mysterious expanse.

Li Xi learned that this was another world, the insect world, and that the place he was in was the mental sea of a young insect.

Li Xi looked at the body's consciousness, which was on the verge of vanishing.

He hesitated over whether to save it.

Later, the insect medical community diagnosed this body as a rare case of dual insect personalities, and a useless little thing incapable of wielding mental power.

One moment, the little one sweetly called, “Hello, big brother.” (Obedient face.)

The next moment, the little one's aura changed completely. “What is it?” (Cold face.)

The insects: “...”

*

The first time Li Xi met the little one, the other was in a fight.

He watched the whole thing expressionlessly, then got caught watching red-handed. “...”

The second time they met, the other's eyelashes were damp.

Li Xi guessed the other had lost the fight and been wounded in his pride.

The third time they met, the other was at another fight.

Li Xi: “...”

Yun: Why is that male insect little one always around for all my embarrassing moments?!

(Flailing) (Crawling) (Caught) (Eaten)

The thing he most wanted to do as a child:

Hold a little one.

Hear a little one call him big brother.

The thing he most wanted to do as an adult:

Kidnap that insect one day.

Extra scene:

(1) Childhood

Yun pinched the little one's cheek with a mischievous grin. “Call me big brother.”

Li He smiled, his eyes curving. He obediently called out, “Big brother.”

Yun fed him a milk candy. “Say it again.”

The insect personality suddenly switched. Li Xi, with candy in his mouth: “?”

Yun: “!”

He fled at top speed.

(2) Adulthood

Art class.

Yun lay bored across his desk, dozing. When he opened his eyes again, he saw a certain male insect staring intently at a drawing board.

He followed his gaze and felt as if he'd been struck by lightning. “!!!”

Wasn't that his insect pattern?!

Yun bristled. “Pervert!”

PS:

Yun only likes Li Xi. The original consciousness (the little dumpling) and Yun have a familial relationship.
