Echizen Says He Likes Me

One day, Echizen invited me to watch a match. Well, he said he was just asking casually.

After I went to watch, I realized Echizen was completely different on the court. He was super cocky and aggressive, always provoking his opponents. I was half-expecting someone to jump him in an alley after the match.

But he was so cool.

His moves were incredibly flashy, and their names were so grand. After that day, I realized tennis was actually pretty interesting, though a little dangerous.

Me: Echizen, you’re so amazing, really, really amazing. Good luck in your next match!

Echizen: I still have a long way to go. He paused, met my eyes, then lowered the brim of his cap and walked past me.

I really like complimenting people. Whenever I compliment Sakuno, she blushes and smiles, then takes my hand. But Echizen never seems to react.

Sigh. I wanted to become really good friends with Echizen, but it seems so hard.

Horior: ??? How can you not see how biased you are toward him???

Who’s still writing Prince of Tennis in 2025? Me, hahaha. It’s mostly sweet little everyday stories, with some plot thrown in. I love Echizen Ryoma so, so much. It has to be sweet, sweet, sweet!!!
