On an unremarkable night, Matsuda and his four fellow police academy classmates sneak out by climbing over the wall. (Not.)
But when they open their eyes again, and take another breath, dawn has broken, and the streets are filled with countless people who look exactly like Matsuda.
There's Matsuda wearing an enormous hat and holding a broom, looking just like a wizard. There's Matsuda with cat ears and a tail. There's Matsuda in a black suit and sunglasses, looking like a bad guy, with a bomb in his hand. There's a shrunken little Matsuda in a detective outfit, investigating a murder at a restaurant. And there's even a Matsuda who almost makes them think he's Matsuda's older sister, among others.

The five of them: We must have gotten out the wrong way.
The five quietly head back to the police academy.
But on the way, they run into a Matsuda who's holding a gun and glaring at them with a fierce look (?).
He says his name is Nounen Kannawa. Hm... he isn't called Matsuda Jinpei.
After that, they run into another Matsuda (?). She says her name is Matsuda Jinpeiko, thinks they look familiar, and wants to get to know them. (As if they weren't already familiar, come on!)
After the five manage to shake them off, they accidentally end up in an unfamiliar alley. To their surprise... there's a body lying there that looks remarkably like Matsuda. In his tightly clenched hand, they find a USB drive...
They later learn that he was a Public Security officer working undercover in an organization called the Crows.
