Blurb to be revised
After breaking up with Chen Yuquan, Jiang Jiang dated a few other people. Comparing them made her appreciate what she had, and only then did she realize how good Chen Yuquan had been.
What a... terrible mistake.
She ran into him again while buying a jianbing guozi at a street corner. He seemed to glow amid the crowd. Jiang Jiang stared, stunned. By the time he looked over, it was too late to hide, so she could only wait there blankly as he came over and sneered, "How have you been since we broke up?"
Jiang Jiang shook her head and honestly replied, "Not good."
Most people would say they're doing well. She's the only exception.
Chen Yuquan was momentarily at a loss for words, and even gritted his teeth in frustration.
If he kept looking at her face, he'd lose his temper, so he made an excuse. "I've got something to do. I'm leaving."
As he turned to go, Jiang Jiang called out to him, stammering, "Chen Yuquan... can I come crawling back to you?"
Chen Yuquan: "...I never knew you had such a thick skin."
That was a rejection. Jiang Jiang wilted and sighed.
But the next second, she heard him say, "I suppose there's no harm in trying. Whether you get me back depends on how you behave."
Jiang Jiang's eyes lit up. There's hope!
But... how was she supposed to win him back?
She went to ask Chen Yuquan. He first gave her a speechless look, then let out a long sigh and said helplessly, "You don't even know how to take back the ex who's right in front of you. You're so dumb."
Jiang Jiang was indignant. If he didn't want to tell her, fine, but why insult her?
