While on a mission, hunting knight Jiang Ju is accidentally cursed by a demon witch. She is reincarnated eight times, dying at the age of twenty-three in every life.
In her ninth life, her lover Tang Xiu finds her and brings her back to his castle.
Life is peaceful and uneventful, and Tang Xiu does his best to find a way to break the curse.
Then one day, Jiang Ju unexpectedly awakens a second personality.
The second personality is arrogant, reckless, and loves a thrill, looking down on everything. She grabs Tang Xiu by the collar and says coldly, "Let me go, damn it. I'm going to be a hunting knight."
Feeling that she might go berserk if he delays even a second, Tang Xiu reluctantly agrees after weighing his options.
After a series of twists and turns, the second personality succeeds in becoming a hunting knight. Excited, she picks up her weapon and heads out to hunt.
Just as she knocks a magical beast to the ground, a sharp pain strikes her head, and Jiang Ju wakes up. She stares at the enormous creature collapsed on the ground, grabs Tang Xiu's sleeve in fear, and asks timidly, "What is that? How did we get here?"
Tang Xiu: "..."
How can he explain that this is all her doing and make her believe him?
