[World One]
Yun Yin's lover died, but then came back to life.
Logos was her new neighbor, utterly unlike her deceased lover, Nous.
They should have been strangers who had never met, but everything he did seemed to tell her: I know you, I like you.
Yun Yin thought he was not only bizarre, but also sick in the head.
Just after she rejected his confession, the entire world suddenly froze.
"Logos," "Nous," or, more accurately, the "god" who created this virtual world: Nous, the universe's only celestial computer, had crashed.
After running the calculations, it understood.
Yun Yin's rejection was an expression of "the uniqueness of love."
"Logos" is me, and "Nous" is me too. They are both my consciousness. I am her lover.
Yun Yin shouldn't reject herself.
"Yin Yin, why won't you accept the person I am now?"
He continued analyzing her thoughts with data.
"Yin Yin, do you like the body I had when we first met? I can make lots of copies of 'Nous.'"
And so the world restarted, and time rewound.
Thousands upon thousands of "Nous" appeared before Yun Yin.
They all wore the face of her dead lover and gazed at her expectantly, speaking in unison:
"Yin Yin, will you love me again now?"
Yun Yin: "…"
She broke down.
The world can restart, and a lover can be copied. So what, in all this, is real?
[World Two]
Yun Yin was the Holy Maiden of the Yaoshi, the god of the Abundance. Kneeling in the temple, she prayed on behalf of the people to the deity seated on the high dais. The Yaoshi pitied all living beings and granted every request, but never cared about what happened after bestowing blessings.
The god on the dais always lowered their gaze to watch the Holy Maiden as she prayed. Before long, Yun Yin herself became the "wish" the Yaoshi desired.
She was the Yaoshi's Holy Maiden. Naturally, she belonged to the Yaoshi, didn't she?
The Yaoshi thought so nonchalantly.
The god descended from the dais and drew their Holy Maiden into their arms.
"Yin Yin, you'll stay by my side forever, won't you?"
[World Three]
Yun Yin was an ordinary member of the Long-Life Species aboard the Xianzhou. The only thing that set her apart was the overwhelming abundance of the Abundance's blessing within her, even exceeding that of an Emanator of Abundance.
The Xianzhou natives were wary of her and shunned her. With nowhere to go, she fled from place to place until the Denizens of Abundance took her in.
When Yun Yin returned to the Xianzhou, she came to be by Lan's side. Rumor called him the "Savior of the Xianzhou."
She fought alongside him and became his friend, his lover...
Until her identity as a Denizen of Abundance spy was exposed and he locked her up. The happy days of Yun Yin and Lan came to an abrupt end.
"Yin Yin, why did you lie to me?"
