The Frail Little Vampire Is the Villain

An'an is descended from the first vampires. His ancestors were immensely powerful, with clans spread far and wide. But after generations of change, his bloodline has grown weak. He can only drink a few drops of blood each day, and all he owns is a dilapidated ancestral home deep in the mountains, a grandfatherly butler who looks after him, and his childhood friend, who has grown up by his side as one of his clan.

His favorite things are eating the desserts his butler makes and listening to his childhood friend tell him bedtime stories.

His least favorite things are taking bitter medicine and being exposed to the scorching sun.

An'an thinks he'll spend the rest of his life in the mountains like this. Then one day, he dreams that the world he lives in is a book, that he's the villain who bullies the protagonist, and that the protagonist is none other than the childhood friend who grew up alongside him.

In the book, he often bullies the protagonist, treating him like a servant. This tramples on the protagonist's dignity and twists his personality. After An'an dies of illness, the protagonist tries to destroy the world along with himself.

An'an thinks the book is talking nonsense. He never bullied his childhood friend.

But the next day, he realizes he makes his childhood friend kneel so he can use his knee to put on his socks. When he gets angry and refuses to take his medicine, he accidentally spills the scalding medicine on his childhood friend. And worst of all, when his childhood friend sees that he's upset, he asks if An'an wants to drink his blood.

An'an likes drinking his childhood friend's blood. Whenever he's angry, he sinks his sharp little teeth into the other boy's fingertips.

QAQ Oh no! It looks like he really is bullying his childhood friend!

Villain An'an decides to turn over a new leaf. First, he'll do things for himself. He'll take his medicine properly, and he'll restrain his desire to drink his childhood friend's blood. He wants his childhood friend to grow up psychologically healthy.

But after only a few days, something seems off.

His childhood friend's gaze turns inscrutable. “An'an, you need to be a good boy.”

An'an: ?

His childhood friend seems even less psychologically healthy now!
