The Princess's Consort Turns Out to Be a Lazy Man Who Transmigrated

Recently, the entire court of the Great Zhou Dynasty was shaken by one announcement: Emperor Wu had arranged a marriage for his beloved eldest daughter, Situ Fengyi.

But her consort, Su Jingyi, was good for nothing but his looks.

He had no talent or intelligence. He wasn't a young imperial scholar, and had even failed the provincial examination.

His family had no power either. His father was merely a fourth-rank prefect, and the only thing they could boast of was an ancestral title.

To make matters worse, the Su family was notorious for its chaotic household. Su Jingyi had once been maliciously switched at birth, and had only been reunited with his family a couple of years ago!

A man like that was truly unworthy of the noble Princess Royal.

Some sharp-eyed officials wondered if the princess had fallen out of favor.

After all, she had once disguised herself as a man and guarded the northwest frontier, debasing herself by mixing with a pack of rough men and lacking any trace of noble refinement.

So they quietly waited for a spectacle.

But the longer they watched, the more something seemed off.

How had the Princess Royal become the Crown Princess?

No, why were our crimes being brought to light?!

When the emperor reformed the government, the conservatives used her as a pretext to list eighteen charges against her in open court. They accused her of being unfit to serve as a model for the imperial family and a standard for the realm, and of committing the crime of impersonation by disguising herself as a man... Their accusations literally enraged the emperor, who fainted from concern for his beloved daughter.

Situ Fengyi had planned to kill them all.

But then she stumbled upon something even more interesting, and grinning, persuaded Su Jingyi to agree to an engagement.

At first, she thought it was a mutually beneficial arrangement. She needed Su Jingyi's knowledge of the Industrial Revolution to advance gender equality. But she hadn't expected him to boast so extravagantly:

He knew the name of a spinning machine, but nothing about how it worked.

He claimed he could make cannons, but they exploded and sent him screaming before all he managed to produce was a curling iron.

He wanted to put an egg tart in one hand and KFC in the other, and then...

Looking at the kitchen that had been blasted to pieces, Situ Fengyi couldn't help pointing her gun at him. "What can you do in the modern world?"

"I can be cute. If I'm a man and this useless, doesn't that prove women in my time can openly support themselves?"

Looking into her consort's sincere eyes, Situ Fengyi fell silent for a moment, then chuckled as the bed curtains slowly fell. "Then give me a female heir to raise!"
