Chu Jinnian deftly put on a little dress and married in his sister's place yet again. Looking at Emperor Chen, whose left face was covered by an iron mask and whose features were full of menace, he forced himself to cough up blood and play the part of a meek, frail beauty.

Emperor Chen's expression darkened. Tapping Chu Jinnian's cheek with a dagger, he said ominously, "I heard you led troops to sack my stronghold?"

Chu Jinnian grabbed Emperor Chen by the waist and, imitating a line he'd read in a romance, said reproachfully, "Wasn't that because Your Majesty cares for me and sent so many people to protect me?"

As he spoke, he nestled his head against Emperor Chen's chest and sobbed theatrically.

The emperor pointed the blade at his throat, eyes dark. "You didn't hide your Adam's apple."

Zhang Yangyang smiles slightly. "Everyone knows my family is nouveau riche. We like buying calligraphy, paintings, and antiques to decorate our place. So, as it happens, my dad bought the genuine painting and donated it to a museum. You can all look it up online. The description is there."

Everyone stares blankly at the name "Zhang Yangyang" listed as the donor on the museum's website. They look fixedly at Zhang Yangyang, wondering if it could be someone with the same name.

"Oh, I forgot. My dad spoils me, so he donated it in my name." Zhang Yangyang sighs with a troubled expression and pulls out a bright red certificate on his phone. "So I can only judge whether it's genuine based on ownership."

Everyone looks at the donation certificate with its official seal and turns green with rage.
