As the title says, my boyfriend turned into a zombie, but he's very well-behaved, so I think I can keep bringing him along forever.

This is the story of our autumn-outing darling taking his zombie boyfriend, Sang Shi, on an autumn outing. (Not really.)

Lu Zhou, a third-rate detective, gets a big case. Mr. Lin Sen, one of the top three wealthiest people in Luochuan City, hires him to investigate whether his new wife is having an affair.

According to Mr. Lin, his wife seems to have been getting rather close to a young man lately.

Lu Zhou accepts the job without hesitation and follows her for several days. Just as he's about to report back to Mr. Lin, Mrs. Lin is murdered, and so is the man she was dating.

When the police question him, Lu Zhou boldly declares, "No big deal. By international convention, my client must have done it."

Lu Zhou's former archrival, Bo Yanxu, the most promising rookie detective in this year's police academy class, brings bad news after Lu Zhou's grand pronouncement: Mr. Lin, Lu Zhou's client, has also been murdered.

Lu Zhou: "...Okay, this is getting weird."

Before the two can figure out the truth, a car comes speeding toward them and knocks them both flying.

When they open their eyes again, their clothes are disheveled, and they're tangled together in bed.

A beautiful woman comes toward them and throws water in their faces.

Lu Zhou: "...I've transmigrated, and I'm at the scene where my cheap older sister catches me in bed with my nemesis..."

The System promises that if the two of them uncover the truth behind the Lin family's deaths, they can return to their original world.

Lu Zhou & Bo Yanxu: "Thanks, but how are we supposed to find clues if you won't let us go back?"

The System chuckles. "Complete the mission, and the System will give you clues."

Bo Yanxu can't understand why Lu Zhou hated him from the moment they first met.

Lu Zhou: "Are you sure it was the first time we met?"
