Color Poaching (Criminal Investigation)

In this world, every human is born with a color. Color represents life: the brighter it is, the more vibrant the person.

When your color fades, your life has reached its end.

To survive, some people hunt others for their colors.

A little ramble: A few days ago, I happened to see an artist's work that was only half-colored, and the idea suddenly came to me, hehe. I was originally considering whether to write a heartwarming story or a horror story, but as I thought about it, it somehow turned into a crime investigation novel?

Story's message: There is only one truth.
