"Let me follow my impulse, defy my fate, and forget my own name."

"The world's worst crime, yet it's the crime I love."

-- No Man's Land

.

On the night of her eighteenth birthday, Liang Wenyi, emboldened by alcohol, grabbed the man's tie and tried to kiss him.

Liang Yuxiu went rigid and turned his head away.

"Beibei, I'm your brother."

His dark eyes were full of restraint. Gently stroking her long hair, he stopped her from crossing the line.

Liang Wenyi refused to give up. Sitting in his lap, she gazed at his sexy Adam's apple with a hazy, alluring look. Her voice was close to tears. "Brother, why can't we be together?"

.

Christmas Eve.

Liang Wenyi brought her boyfriend home.

In the living room, they unexpectedly ran into Liang Yuxiu, who was supposed to be at a business dinner.

"Hello, big brother."

Her boyfriend was cheerful and outgoing, but faced with this imposing man, he was somehow overcome with fear.

He'd heard that Liang Yuxiu was a famous lawyer who was also formidable in business.

Liang Yuxiu's face was cold, and he said nothing.

He called Liang Wenyi out to the balcony.

The night was dark. The tall man leaned against the railing and lit a cigarette. Its crimson ember flickered in the darkness.

"Liang Wenyi."

His voice was gentle and calm, his dark eyes fixed on the girl's soft lips.

"Did you really have to go this far just to provoke me?"

Liang Wenyi turned her face away and stubbornly replied, "I really do like him."

As if to remind him of his place, she added, "Big brother."

"Is that so?"

The man gave a cold laugh, stubbed out his half-smoked cigarette, and stepped close. His low, dangerous voice drifted into her ear as his cool fingertips gently rolled her earlobe. "Then should I tell him that we're kissing here?"
