Emperor Yan died suddenly, leaving behind an eleven-year-old heir, the Empress Dowager, and... the King of Taiyuan, who commanded a mighty army, had won countless victories, and whose reputation overshadowed the throne.
A spy who had been lying low in Luoyang for years was ordered by the Empress Dowager to return to Ye and infiltrate the Prince of Taiyuan's estate, vowing to uncover the fox's true nature beneath his facade of a trusted minister.
But there is always a higher mountain. Who can say what the future holds?
Murong Four during his regency, with plenty of outrageous drama. Fictionalized tales and unofficial histories abound, while dirty rumors and out-of-character antics are equally plentiful.
Theme: Never give up.
