Bell's Springtime

[Clearheaded painter who ran away from her wedding x wealthy young master, a scheming big shot]

Bei Erchun ran away from her wedding.

[Bonus Scene]

The sea breeze drifts into the studio.

Bei Erchun lowers her head, pretending to sort through her sketches.

He Peilin wraps an arm around her waist from behind and rests his chin in the hollow of her shoulder. His teasing voice carries a hint of grievance.

"I fell in love with a woman who once loved me and then abandoned me."

"Who would do something so awful?" Her ears burn. "Did you make things difficult for her, Mr. Lin?"

"I meant to make things very difficult for her."

The man chuckles, his fingertips caressing the soft flesh of her waist.

"But she's so charming that I can't bring myself to. I can only keep her by my side for the rest of her life, then... settle the score with her slowly."
