Seizing Spring [Coercive Possession]

A beautiful guzheng player × a sinister, possessive tycoon

Song Jingheng first saw her in a car speeding through the night.

A huge poster swept past the window. A young woman wore a spring-colored Chinese jacket, her long hair loosely pinned up as she lowered her head to pluck the strings. Her profile looked classical and noble.

He frowned at once, his gaze fixed on her image. “Turn around,” he ordered coldly.

From then on, no matter how late it was, the driver made a point of taking the street where the poster stood.

Until the day the poster was violently taken down.

Inside the dim car, the man said nothing, his face obscured by the hazy moonlight.

An underling reported nervously, “Her fiance didn't like her being so much in the public eye... He ordered it taken down.”

A cold glint flashed at the man's wrist. The glasses in his hand snapped in two.

Blood trickled from his pierced palm, yet he curled his lips in an amused smile.

“Fiance...?”

Later, at a banquet, he looked down from his lofty seat as the man knelt before her, begging desperately:

“Xixi! If you'll just keep Mr. Song company for a few days, I can pay off what I owe him...”

The young woman felt as if she'd been plunged into an ice cave. She forced herself to retreat step by step.

Song Jingheng approached at an unhurried pace, gripping her chin and forcing her to look up.

“He wants to trade you to settle his debt.”

“I won't!”

She bit her lip and refused. Her stubborn, tearful look pleased him all too easily.

He ran his thumb over her trembling lips and sneered.

“I'm not... asking you.”

[Extra scene]

At a villa halfway up the mountain, he pinned her against the door.

A wall separated them from the noisy crowd outside. In front of her was his damp embrace.

“Why are you crying?”

He kissed her tearful eyes with exquisite tenderness, yet his possession of her remained as fierce as ever.

“Isn't it wonderful, spending every night with me?”

The more jealous he felt, the more despicable his methods became.

Reader's guide:

1. The male lead is a sinister, deranged obsessive, genuinely ill, and the story is full of melodrama.

2. One-on-one romance / first sexual partner for both / happy ending
