Chi Xiao woke up one day to find he had transmigrated into the body of Theo Langston, the male spouse of the Insect Emperor.
As a serious uniform fetishist, the moment Theo laid eyes on his female spouse in a military uniform, with broad shoulders and a slim waist, his heart started pounding!

So their supposedly happy marriage was nothing but a transaction from beginning to end.
After agonizing over it, Theo finally made up his mind to escape this marriage, which was in name only and fraught with danger.
He was done being a tool male bug! Whoever wanted the job could have it!
When August came home that day and found nothing waiting for him but a cold room and an even colder divorce agreement, it felt as if his heart had been squeezed hard.
He took a deep breath, forced himself to stay calm, and messaged his male spouse: "I made your favorite dishes tonight. Come home first. We need to talk."
The only reply he got was a notice that he'd been blocked.
The security cameras had been turned off. The tracker had stopped working, too.
Only then did the usually unflappable Insect Emperor finally panic.
The divorce agreement was torn to shreds. Bloody marks from his knuckles striking the bedroom wall were left behind.
He had to bring his male spouse back with his own hands!

2. There are plenty of melodramatic misunderstandings, physical and emotional angst, a spouse-chasing arc, and lots of push and pull, but at its heart this is still a story about two hopeless romantics.

On another feverish night, a group of strange figures stand beside his bed. Their tentacles writhe and their mouthparts open and close, uttering ancient insect words that humans should never be able to hear:

The major general's eyes snap open. An unprecedented cramping pain erupts in his abdomen, making him curl up involuntarily.
Damn it, another nightmare!
The major general doesn't know that every tiny change in his body is being scanned and recorded, then transferred to the insect race's encrypted files.

They're working hard to get everything ready to welcome their new Insect Mother home!
And when the Insect Mother finally learns the truth about his genetic modification, he immediately boards a modified spaceship and flees to the far reaches of space.

The ending is a bit hasty, especially the time reversal part, which omits a lot of information including Xiao Fu's information sources and communication, so abstract that it is a bit difficult to understand. But it is understandable that the author may not have good data in this book and wants to finish it early. The overall writing style of the article is controllable, the emotional lines are detailed, and the story is exciting. And it's only the second book on the author's account.
