Jian Xing and Wen Yi have been mortal enemies since childhood, and after they both present as alphas, they can't stand the sight of each other even more.

Jian Xing hates how Wen Yi acts all aloof and the arrogant look in his eyes. Every time he sees him, he wants to slap him.

Wen Yi hates Jian Xing's temper just as much. He finds him obnoxiously loud and would shut him up if he could.

But they're neighbors, their parents are close friends, and they have to ride to and from school in the same car every day.

When Jian Xing gets out of the car, he flips Wen Yi off. "Such a poser."

Wen Yi ignores him and adds, "What a clown."

They thought things would stay that way forever, but then they both got carried away at a mixer. The two alphas actually slept together!

What Jian Xing couldn't accept most was that he'd been the bottom. What?

"Let's pretend this never happened. I'll just think of it as getting bitten by a dog."

"You were the one who jumped me first," Wen Yi replied calmly, making Jian Xing want to kick him twice.

Sleeping with his mortal enemy was so embarrassing that Jian Xing and Wen Yi left each other alone for days. Then, at their family physical, the two alphas discovered that their pheromone compatibility was... 100%!

Before Jian Xing and Wen Yi could even process it, their parents had already decided they should get married.

"What? I won't do it!" Jian Xing was the first to protest. "I'd rather die than marry him."

"Impossible." Wen Yi's expression was just as grim. "He's really annoying."

But their parents only thought they were even more perfect for each other. Without further ado, Jian Xing and Wen Yi got married.

What's it like to marry your mortal enemy?

At first, Jian Xing was disgusted. Gradually, he started feeling sick, craving the other's pheromones and wanting to kiss and hug him.

He thought something was wrong with him, so he went to the hospital for a checkup and found out he was pregnant. Wen Yi had gotten him pregnant on the first try.

An alpha had gotten another alpha pregnant.

Jian Xing felt like his world had collapsed. But the baby needed pheromones, and every time he approached Wen Yi, Wen Yi immediately backed away and called him a freak.

He couldn't take it anymore. His eyes red, he asked Wen Yi, "This baby is yours too. If you don't want it, I'll get rid of it right now."

Later, people saw the two who had once been at each other's throats walking hand in hand. They even saw the once-unapproachable Wen Yi bow his head and patiently coax the other man.

Jian Xing scolded him: "This is all your fault."

Wen Yi immediately admitted he was wrong. "I'm sorry. It was my fault."

"Don't be mad, okay?"
