It's an age when fictional characters are awakening. Characters in various small worlds have come to life: side characters want to become protagonists, and villains want to become good people.
But without certain characters, the plots of these worlds can't proceed. New NPCs are therefore needed to become part of the story and take the place of the awakened characters in fulfilling their assigned roles.
Beichuan Shili is a veteran NPC administrator who has repeatedly been named an outstanding employee of the Spacetime Bureau. The bureau has granted her permission to retire after she completes one last mission world.
So Beichuan Shili draws her final assignment: Detective Conan.
And then...
Akemi: Actually, I wasn't that eager to agree to Gin's plan to steal those one billion yen...
Sera: Actually, I'm not always that direct when testing Conan...
Detective Mouri: Actually, it's not that I can't tell someone's always doing the reasoning behind my back...
Ran: Actually, I can see through some of Conan's flaws...
The Black Organization's number one: Actually, the organization is such a joke. I never really wanted to work for it...
Beichuan Shili: If that's the case, actually, I'm not sure I want this job either.
Theme: Love can help people hold back
