After finishing her college entrance exams, Yayoi transmigrated. But she soon discovered that she wasn't the only one: every student in her class had been chosen by the Space-Time Bureau to become a mission-taker.
From then on, Experimental No. 3 High School's Class 15 became the Space-Time Bureau's Third Task Force, Class 15. There was no need to go to college anymore; they went straight to work.
Yayoi worked diligently as a mission-taker, all the while looking forward to retiring and returning to her original world to enjoy life.
The good news was that she'd made it. She completed her mission and could retire.
The bad news was that everyone else in her class had failed their missions. The Space-Time Bureau bundled them up and tossed them into a derivative world to be dealt with as defective products.
Her classmates: Class rep, we're useless. Come save us~
Yayoi, class rep and the only mission-taker to succeed: “…”
It's fine. She believes that even the most hopeless cases can be saved.
The Space-Time Bureau: “What if these vegetables have forgotten they're vegetables?”
Yayoi: “What do you mean?”
The Space-Time Bureau: “They're so useless that not only did they fail their missions, they also lost their memories and forgot they were mission-takers.”
“So now it's up to you to wake up your classmates and save the world!”
So when the Space-Time Bureau kicked Yayoi into the derivative world, this was what she found...
The class's most studious student council member was competing for first place with some blond jerk.
Blond public security officer: Sorry, but no matter how hard you try, I'm still first!
The discipline committee member most eager to climb the ranks was fighting Class Rep Date for the position of class leader in Onizuka's class.
Class Rep Date: I told you, if you can beat me, you can be class leader. You just couldn't beat me!
The toughest member of the class's sports committee had become a weakling at Teitan High School.
Ran/Sera: We'll take care of the criminal, so don't charge in there!!
The class's most morally upright political studies committee member had become a genuine member of the Black Organization.
Vermouth: What is it? Come to punish me again today, oh righteous hero~

Reader's Guide:
1. This is a Detective Conan-only crossover, with lots of original headcanons, characters, and plotlines. Canon events will also be changed.

3. The early story will focus on the Police Academy Five for quite a while. The middle and later parts will cover the Detective Conan storyline after the series' first year.
4. There is a canon pairing: Matsuda. Please don't ship the wrong pairing.
5. The author likes putting together all kinds of couples and won't break up canon pairings. If you don't like a particular pairing, just skip those parts and enjoy the rest.
6. This story has angst. It's not a wish-fulfillment story, but it does have a happy ending. If that's not for you, please don't read!

This is an era in which characters are awakening. Characters in the various small worlds have come to their senses: supporting characters want to become protagonists, and villains want to become good people.
But a world can't function properly if a character's plotline is missing. That's why new NPCs are needed to become part of the story and take over the awakened characters' roles.
