After My Brooding Imperial Brother Set His Sights on Me

Pretty Little Villainess x Gorgeous, Spoiled Beauty

Li Wan was confined to the Cold Palace as a child. She worked herself to the bone just to survive, while also having to raise a burden she hadn't asked for.

That burden was her half-brother. He was handsome, but his smile was creepy and not cute at all.

Li Wan made no effort to hide her disdain.

Later, Li Wan helped her little burden escape their predicament. They hadn't enjoyed many peaceful days before she learned that she was a fake princess whose biological father was unknown.

Li Wan was horrified. She confessed to her little burden, "I'll help you take the throne. You keep me safe and make sure I live in wealth and splendor."

Her little burden stared at her for a while, then suddenly smiled. "All right."

After her little burden ascended the throne, Li Wan relaxed and discussed another matter with him. "I want to build a princess's residence and keep at least ten male favorites."

This time, her fake younger brother smiled again, but slowly and deliberately, as he fastened a golden chain around her snow-white ankle. "Does Eldest Sister think you can still leave?"

Li Zhi considered himself a villain, just like his tyrant of a father: selfish, cold, and cruel, with an added streak of dark malice.

Whenever Li Wan poked him in the forehead and called him a burden, or kicked him when she was displeased with him,

Li Zhi would shudder with bloodthirsty excitement. He thought: If Li Wan ever falls into my hands, I'll torment her in a hundred different ways.

Later, Li Wan did indeed fall into his hands. But Li Zhi realized that the best thing to do was keep a beautiful, hopeless little canary by his side forever.

One princess disappeared from Changle Hall. A beauty appeared in the emperor's bedchamber.

The palace servants said this beauty enjoyed the emperor's exclusive favor and was very lucky.

But no one knew that on countless nights, the emperor held the beauty captive in his arms, his long fingers wiping the fragrant sweat from her cloudlike hair as he asked again and again, "A Wan, have you given in? Are you still going to leave?"
