World One: Hero and Villain
The righteous hero, battered by the people he protected and with nowhere else to go, collapses miserably on the villain's turf.
The hero struggles back to his feet and fights him, every blow landing hard, each one aimed at taking the other's life. But in the end, the hero runs out of strength and falls helplessly into the rain.
The villain presses a knife to the hero's throat. He only needs to move it an inch to remove the last obstacle.
The villain falls silent. As the hero breathes hard, he suddenly turns the knife around and, under the hero's bewildered gaze, slices open his own collar.

World Two: Swordsman and Demon Lord
The swordsman always wears a bamboo hat and never shows his face. His sword never pauses for anyone, except the unfathomably powerful Demon Lord.
He has tried to assassinate the Demon Lord one hundred and one times, and failed just as many.
Each time, he gave it everything he had, the blade at the other's throat, just one millimeter away from taking his life.
Until one day, the swordsman is sent back to the Demon Lord's youth by an ancient divine mirror.
Because of his unusual bloodline, the young Demon Lord is being hunted. He lies in the rain, covered in mud, with only his eyes betraying the overwhelming despair and hatred within him.
In the end, the swordsman can't bear to leave him there. He takes him home, cleans him up, and nurses him until his wounds heal. But the ancient divine mirror only works for half a month. The swordsman says, "I'll be right back," and never returns.
Back in the present, the swordsman accidentally has his bamboo hat knocked off by the Demon Lord's sword wind.
