I Said I'm Not the Great Demon King!

My next story will probably be a Hunter x Hunter and Inuyasha crossover: How a Dog Girl from the Dark Continent Survives in the Hunter World. The blurb and the one for another upcoming story are at the very bottom. If you're interested, please add them to your favorites, hehe.

The fated transmigration of the "Migratory Bird" clan comes right on schedule.

Shihua tumbles out of a rift in space and time, then gets up and dusts off her clothes.

No big deal. Don't panic.

This world has cursed spirits?

Shihua brings out her cursed technique and hoists up a giant hammer.

It's fine. I'll fight them.

Just as life finally gets back on track and she's dreaming of becoming a Special Grade sorcerer, enjoying a laid-back life of eating and drinking, occasionally fighting cursed spirits and rescuing the weak, she learns that a rat is secretly plotting to overthrow the world.

...Ah, no need to worry. I can keep lying low a little longer.

But her classmate wants to defect? That is absolutely... unacceptable.

For once, Shihua's usually expressionless face turns serious. She silently takes out her weapons. "Darling, would you like this golden rope, or this silver rope, or perhaps..."

Suguru watches Shihua take out her signature hammer and point it at his leg. He swallows nervously.

Shihua gently reassures him, "It's fine. You can stay home, and I'll take care of you."

Suguru bristles. "Ah! I'm not defecting! I said I'm not defecting!!"

Shihua puts away her weapon, cups Suguru Geto's face in both hands after cornering him against the wall, and rises onto her toes to nuzzle him tenderly. "Mm, good boy."

Suguru falls silent at once, struggling to stay composed as his ears turn bright red.

He never really wanted to run away.

A disruptive yell comes from behind them: "Homewrecker! Suguru! Shihua! You're all homewreckers!!"

Suguru bristles again. "Stop peeking!!"

Shoko lights a cigarette: Nice. I like this. Give me more.

After years of hard work, Shihua finally becomes the one whose name no one dares speak in the jujutsu world.

"Shh, she's here."

"Who? Who's here?"

"You know, that person. That person."

"Ah... her."

"Quick, quick, bow your heads. She's looking this way!"

Shihua pauses as she walks past and earnestly explains, "I'm not a great demon king." She thinks for a moment, then adds, "And I'm not a shorty, either."

The group's faces turn bright red. They bow in terror and trepidation. "Y-yes... We're sorry, Lady Shihua!"

Shihua opens her mouth, wanting to say something, but gives up in the end.

Never mind. She's used to it.
