Question: How many steps does it take to win over Red-Hair?
"Three."
The beauty sitting in a chair with her legs crossed held up three fingers and declared it firmly to her lackeys, who were staring at her without blinking.
A chorus of "Wow!" rang out.
Her lackeys started chattering over one another.
Lackey No. 1: "That's our boss!"
Lackey No. 2: "If that damn redhead doesn't say yes, we'll make him regret it!"
Lackey No. 3: "It's his good fortune that our boss has her eye on him!"
Lackey No. 4 still had a little sense left. "Boss, what exactly are the three steps?"
Lilianta cheerfully swung her crossed legs. The rickety chair beneath her creaked under the strain, but she paid it no mind, lounging as though she were seated on her own throne.
She lifted her chin slightly, wearing a rather smug expression. Her little canine teeth gleamed white in the dim light of the cabin. Just as she was about to say something, an alarm horn sounded from the lookout outside: a ship was approaching.
Lilianta stopped mid-sentence and rushed out with her lackeys.
Lackey No. 4 shaded his eyes with one hand. His sharp vision let him make out a pirate flag flying from the approaching ship.
"Huh? Boss, isn't that Red-Hair's ship?"
But when he turned around, Lilianta, who had been standing right beside him, had already vanished. He stared in shock, eyes wide and mouth agape.
Where did she go???!!!
"Look! It's the boss!" At that moment, Lackey No. 4 heard his companions cry out.
Following their pointing fingers, he scrambled over to the railing and saw, nearly popping his eyes out, that Lilianta, who had just confidently told everyone it would take three steps to win over Red-Hair, was already standing on someone else's ship, holding her saber to the captain's neck and acting outrageously cocky.
"Hey, Red-Hair, marry me!"
