CEO? Hand It Over!

As an intern, Xia Ye has only three requirements for a job: not much work, close to home, and proof of internship.

She gets lucky and finds one, but before she can even settle into her desk, she's told the studio has been acquired.

She thinks she'll be out of a job and that her internship certificate will be out of reach, too. But to her surprise, the new company generously takes the whole team on.

They are assigned to different departments. The president's secretary picks Xia Ye to be her assistant, and she ends up switching bodies with the overachieving CEO.

Xia Ye stares at the stack of contracts on the desk and gives a strained laugh, sending a desperate look toward her "self," who watches her coolly with arms crossed.

Xia Ye is forced to work late into the night. The next day, before she's even awake, Fang Yichen drags her out of bed and rushes her off to the morning meeting.

Sitting in the boss's chair, Xia Ye relays the prepared talking points she'd memorized to the secretary. Just before the meeting ends, inspiration strikes, and she comes up with a way to get back at Fang Yichen.

With everyone around, she props her elbow on the desk and tips her chin at her "self." "Don't just sit around. Go get me a cup of tea."

They live a life of three days in their own bodies and two days swapped, until one day Xia Ye spots a childhood photo of herself hidden away in Fang Yichen's home.

The frame is exquisite. In the photo, a girl laughs with her eyes curved in delight, while the boy holding her hand looks down at their joined fingers, dazed.
